Porthcawl is a bustling seaside resort on the South Coast of Wales, with all the best traditions that we know and love — a promenade, safe sandy beaches fringed by rocks, craggy cliffs, a World Famous Golf course, and the Coney Beach Amusement Park for all the fun of the fair…. appealing to visitors of all ages and interests. It was a new tour in 2021 and all our visitors wanted a return so here it is!
Staying at The Seabank Hotel. Situated a short walk from The Grand Pavilion and the shops on John Street. It hosts beautiful views of Bristol Channel & Southern Wales… Perfect to sit and have a coffee!
For your full day excursion we have something a little different for you this time. The Royal Mint Experience. With thrilling tours, exciting exhibitions, cracking coin hunts and more, there's something for everyone at The Royal Mint Experience. Your second full day excursion takes you to the eleventh largest city in the UK and the capital of Wales. Cardiff, widely regarded as being the city with the most castles in the world. The most famous amongst these is Cardiff Castle, which has stood for nearly 2,000 years at the heart of the city. Cardiff is a city full of culture. National Museum Cardiff houses the largest collection of Impressionist art outside Paris as well as works spanning over 500 years of art history. The Museum of Cardiff tells the tale of the city from its 1300s origins to present day.

Tenby is a harbour town and resort in South Wales. Well known for its 13th-century town walls and its stretches of sandy shoreline, including Castle Beach. The ruins of Tenby Castle are on a headland overlooking the harbour. Tenby is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views!
Staying at The Clarence House Hotel on half-board Basis. This host is a wonderful family run hotel, offering Good Company and Great home cooked food using locally sourced produce. Join us overlooking the sea, with scenery and views towards caldy island!
We are taking you to what some say is the oldest town in Wales, Carmarthen. It has a rich and colourful history. Situated proudly above the River Tywi alongside is Carmarthen Castle. A visit to the town is something all visitors to the county should experience. If the afternoon we will visit The National Botanic Garden of Wales is a botanical garden located in Llanarthney in the River Tywi Valley. The garden is both a visitor attraction and a centre for botanical research and conservation, and features the world's largest single-span glasshouse, measuring 110m long by 60m wide.
Your second excursion will be to Pendine, translated in Welsh as ‘End of the Dunne’s’ and renowned for its land speed record history. The seaside resort is best known for adjacent Pendine Sands. Then on to St David’s. Many travel to visit St David’s Cathedral, the most impressive church in Wales. On the famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path and Wales Coast Path. It is home to some of the best beaches in Wales and best coastal walks in the UK. St David’s, named after the founder of a strict monastic order and was the most influential clergyman in all Wales during the “Age of Saints.”
Ilfracombe Mon 4th – Fri 8th November 2024
Staying at The Imperial Hotel on half-board basis. This lovely hotel is situated right on the seafront just 80 metres from the beach, it benefits from a prime location opposite the Landmark Theatre. It is only a short walk to the shops and harbour. The coastline of the area is surrounded by scenic cliffs and is popular with surfers. The region is known for its areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Barnstaple, a thriving market town with a traditional Pannier Market at its heart that often, sometimes daily, plays host to events. The town lies at the River Taw's lowest crossing point before the Bristol Channel. From the 14th century, it was licensed to export wool from which it earned great wealth. Maybe locally sourced and made products are for you so spot of shopping may be on the cards?
Your seconds visit….Spend your morning in Appledore, a funny little place, fiercely local and has a 'front' but no real beach. For centuries, Appledore was an important shipbuilding centre for the region and the village's large indoor ship yard continues to be a source of employment for many of the residents. Because of its long maritime heritage, the village is now home to the North Devon Maritime Museum. The afternoon will be spent in Bideford. Enjoy some quayside shopping: Bideford is situated on the banks of the River Torridge, the quayside area offers a picturesque shopping experience. Here, you can find a mix of shops, cafes, and restaurants while enjoying beautiful views of the river and the historic Bideford Bridge.

Well… we are going to spoil you rotten with this one! We have rolled Christmas & New Year all into 5 fun filled days of entertainment, food and fun!
Staying at The Nethway Hotel you will be looked after by Gary, Julie & their welcoming staff. While staying at The Nethway you will be fast-forward straight into the Christmas Spirit with an opportunity to visit Babbacombe Theatre for the Christmas spectacular show. The chef will make sure your Christmas Fayre with all the trimmings is excellent plus great entertainment!
The English Riviera as it is commonly known, has some of the most beautiful scenic areas, Torquay Harbour near the town centre offers shops, cafes and a marina. Torre Abbey, a monastery founded in 1196, has art galleries and extensive gardens featuring plants from local writer Agatha Christie's novels. Exmouth is one of the oldest and most picturesque seaside towns in Devon. The town is the gateway to the world heritage Jurassic Coast. Developed as a seaside resort in Georgian Times, Exmouth soon became the most selected seaside resort in Britain. Nowadays it offers a rich mixture of immaculate sands, picturesque gardens, a bustling marina and enough water sport facilities to entice even the most adventurous of people!
Exeter is your full day visit, the scenic setting makes it a great destination all year round and a great place to start a walk, cycle or paddleboard along the river and the Exe Estuary Trail towards Topsham, and neighbouring Rougemont Gardens originally formed part of the defences to Exeter Castle.
Sidmouth is your second excursion, a beautiful seaside town with a regency feel. Perhaps one of the main reasons why people flock to Sidmouth is to explore the region's natural beauty. Being located on the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Jurassic Coast, there are plenty of coastal attractions, such as the beaches and the South West Coast Path to explore. Includes one free lunch in the hotel on your free day. This is a Turkey & tinsel holiday including all the festive fayre.

Blackpool is known for its Pleasure Beach, with its old-school amusement park and wooden rollercoasters, the seafront with its array of arcades, Blackpool Tower, Circus, Tower Ballroom, Glass Viewing Platform, and gift shops. You have 2 included excursions, firstly Liverpool with a guided tour. Then your second, Lytham & St Anne’s……. Liverpool has more museums and galleries than any city in Britain except London and is home to two of Britain's largest cathedrals. It has unique and historic architecture. Who better to tour you around than a local Blue Badge Guide, with an array of information coming your way, get the stories and history of the people Liverpool is famous for producing!
Lytham, more upmarket with nice bars and cafes and nice shops. Less touristy and has lovely parks and all the amenities without the arcades. St Anne’s is more tourist friendly and has all the usual fun of the seaside included. Fancy a donkey ride or a coffee on the seafront? Whatever takes your fancy St Anne’s has it all…. There is also a free lunch included on your free day in Blackpool!
