Elegant Buxton has been welcoming visitors to enjoy its natural thermal springs and superb setting since Roman times. The highest market town in England; Buxton is deservedly renowned for its Georgian and Victorian architecture. Then there is Bakewell, perhaps best known for its unique and delicious Pudding. Bakewell has many more tempting treats to offer, ranging from shopping and specialist markets to relaxing strolls and idyllically scenery of the peak district situated on the banks of the River Wye. The excursions included are Castleton, Matlock Bath and
Chesterfield Market.

Overlooked by Peveril Castle, Castleton lies at the western end of the Hope Valley, within sight of the former hillfort of Mam Tor and the spectacular limestone canyon of Winnats Pass. The village is one of the most popular tourist destinations of the Peak District, boasting no less than four magnificent show caves – Peak Cavern, Speedwell Cavern, Treak Cliff Cavern and Blue John Mine and Peveril Castle itself.

Matlock Bath is set in the beautiful gorge of the River Derwent, with attractive riverside gardens, wooded hillsides and rocky limestone crags not to mention its spa waters. Finally, we visit Chesterfield Market on departure day before travelling home. Give you chance to buy some fresh fruit & vegetables and locally produced goodies to take home!

Eastbourne 
Come along and join us for our tour to…. Eastbourne, Staying at the Mansion Lions Hotel. Situated on the elegant Eastbourne seafront opposite the iconic Bandstand. The Hotel offers evening entertainment and has an outside garden which grows grapes and even has a small fish pond! This is the perfect place to relax during the warmer summer months, a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, selection of shops & theatres.

We have brilliant excursions included on this tour, visiting Brighton, Hastings & Battle, Carr Taylor Vineyards & Alfriston. Brighton is an English seaside resort town known for its broad shingle beach, amusement arcades, Regency-era buildings and Brighton Pier. Engulf some history in the small town of Hastings and along to Battle for some cultural enrichment. Our final excursion visits Alfriston for a ½ day visit, time to enjoy some beautiful scenery of this Sussex village.

Staying at The Clifton Hotel, Renowned for its warm Yorkshire welcome. The Clifton Hotel Scarborough offers amazing, uninterrupted sea views, and is situated only a short distance from many of the town's attractions. This hotel therefore makes for the perfect base for us visiting the Yorkshire Coast. With inspirational views across the North Sea and Scarborough's magnificent castle headland, it's easy to see how First World War poet Wilfred Owen was inspired to write some of his most famous works in this hotel. We have included excursions to Whitby & Bridlington plus feel time to explore Scarborough.

Whitby
With Blue Flag beaches and many attractions, including the world-famous steam train at North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Whitby is the perfect base, But it doesn’t end there. Whitby wallows in history, including fishing, the jet industry - still the best place in the world to find the gleaming black gemstone, Captain Cook; who was born nearby, and whose famous ship the Endeavour was Whitby-built and whaling. And its literary connections – Bram Stoker’s famous Dracula features the town, with the vampire first coming ashore here from Transylvania in the guise of a black dog – have inspired the world famous Goth Festival still taking place yearly.

Bridlington
For a leisurely day out….. How about visiting the elegant promenades of bright and breezy Bridlington? With its sandy beaches, award-winning promenades and historic harbour, this is a hidden seaside gem awash with kitsch traditional entertainment. Visit the funfair, amusements and donkey rides on the beach for a traditional British day out with seaside, Buckets & spades! Also, whilst you're in this neck of the woods, why not go and explore Bridlington's wonderful Old Town.
