A ride on the steam railway is included which lets you view the area from Port Erin, the Old smuggling site, Victorian sea side dream, or modern town, with its sheltered harbour, beautiful beach and shops with almost everything all the way over to Douglas the capital and largest town of the Isle of Man.
We will also take a trip to Laxey Wheel (admission Included). This feat of Victorian engineering and ingenuity is the largest surviving waterwheel of its kind in the world. The Lady Isabella as she is also known, served the mine for 70 years and became the Island’s most dramatic tourist attraction. Watch the mighty wheel turn and climb to the top for panoramic views across Glen Mooar Valley. Beyond the wheel take an hour to explore the mine and the trail to the mine ruins to learn more about the lives of the Laxey miners.
We will also be taking a visit to Milntown Gardens (Admission Included). Set in the beautiful parish of Lezayre, Milntown is the Island's only Historical Estate and boasts 15 acres of beautiful gardens and woodland which surround the magnificent mansion and café at its heart. The café is renown for its lovely food using locally sourced produce, perfect if you would like to grab something to eat or maybe a coffee!

It has stunning surroundings and offers a little taster of Wales… perfect for a little relaxation! Relax on evening with a drink and listen to a wonderful male voice choir. We have 3 excursions to Liverpool, Llandudno & Chester
After breakfast we will depart our accommodation to visit Liverpool. During our day out you will have chance to enjoy all its famous landmarks. Followed by free time for lunch @ Albert Dock. After lunch we will take a guided tour so you can fill up on the masses of knowledge and history that surrounds Liverpool & its heritage.
Llandudno is a seaside town in north Wales. It’s known for North Shore Beach, Great Orme and 19th-century Llandudno Pier, with many shops and a games arcade. Northwest of town, the cliffs of Great Orme headland jut into the sea. Ancient tunnels lead to a cavern at Great Orme Mines. The tramway has an upper and lower section, and travels to the headland’s summit. To the east, smaller headland Little Orme is a nature reserve. Llandudno has a little bit of everything….
Chester is a city, founded as a Roman fortress in the 1st century A.D. It's known for its extensive Roman walls made of local red sandstone. In the old city, the Rows is a shopping district distinguished by 2-level covered arcades and Tudor-style half-timber buildings. A Roman Amphitheatre, with ongoing excavations, lies just outside the old city's walls. Chester is stunning and gives you the feel of stepping back in time…

Isle of Wight
After a wonderful visit in 2019 The Shanklin Hotel will look after us once again. P.s Don’t forget your swimming trunks/costume so you can delve into the spa swimming pool.
We return to this mystical island situated in the Solent. Fondly known for the olde world feel with narrow roads, thatched cottages and a slower pace of life.
Also on this tour one of the wonderful excursions will be to the Osbourne House and Gardens, former home of Queen Victoria and designed by her husband Prince Albert (admission included). We also include a trip on the steam railway giving you chance to visit Abbey of Our Lady of Quarr, a monastery. It is home to a small group of Benedictine monks who strive to dedicate their lives to the glory of God, and whose day is characterised by prayer, work and community life.
This is truly an experience giving you insight into the way they live! Finishing off with a round the Island tour, visiting The Needles, Godshill (The most photographed landmark on the island), Isle of Wight Pearl (Giving you chance to buy a souvenir of your holiday). So, you see all the best bits the Isle of Wight has to offer!
