Luxury St Anne’s Monday 1st – Friday 5th April 2024
Wake up with sea air, widespread beach, glorious sea and the wafting smell of breakfast…. Sound good? Come and join us for our spring tour to this beautiful Hotel on Half–Board Basis. The Clifton Park Hotel is renowned for its timeless elegance, superior quality and exemplary service. Centrally located in the stylish seaside town of St Anne’s-on-Sea.
Also on offer, a tranquil Leisure Centre which boasts a luxurious heated indoor swimming pool and spa area, or if you just want to enjoy some peace and quiet, there is a comfortable lounge overlooking the pool and private garden. With all the fun of the seaside on offer all we have to wish for is good weather!
 
Your first excursion is the Pendle Witches with a guided tour. In the shadow of Pendle Hill lie pretty villages, which tell a story of intrigue and witchcraft nearly 400 years old. Start your journey and follow the route the Pendle Witches took through the Ribble Valley to Lancaster Castle where they stood trial. Then on to Oswaldtwistle Mills for some shopping time.
Your second excursion day is to Southport, a fun loving seaside town with attractions for all the family. When it comes to beaches, you’re spoilt for choice with 22 miles of coastline with stunning views and coastal walks. Southport also has an abundance of independent restaurants and bars making it a foodie’s haven. Full of culture, whether it’s their historic Victorian architecture, Iron Pier,
spectacular series of year around events, shops or boutique crafts, there’s plenty to do year round!

Your first excursion is Bristol with a Blue Badge Guide. Bristol is a thriving port city with a fascinating history and culture. From the comings and goings of ships at the harbour to unique shops and restaurants & free time to explore at your leisure.
 
 
You might know Weston for it's traditional donkey rides, amusements, the Grand Pier, Ice Cream on the beach and Fish & Chips. But it has lots more to offer.......Not one, but two theatres, two cinemas, a freeMuseum..... You'll be pleasently surprised at the amount of things to do! The newest addition is the Marine Lake. Renovated in 2022, it offers the perfect spot with its own sandy beach for sea water swimming and paddling even when the tide is out.
Your second excursion is Taunton, the county town of Somerset in the heart of the West Country. Taunton is a bustling, forward-looking town with excellent amenities, a good selection of independent and high street shops, distinctive restaurants, cafes and attractions, and a wealth of history, all whilst being surrounded by picturesque countryside.
Bournemouth Riveria Mon 29th April – Fri 3rd May 2024
Staying at The Riviera Hotel at Alum Chine, with panoramic sea views across Bournemouth Bay. They have an award winning Cunarder conservatory restaurant serving delicious food. This hotel has an indoor swimming pool available for use, or relax and unwind in their Spa Bath, feeling a little more energetic, take advantage of their studio gym!
Your first full day excursion will be Salisbury. Salisbury is a beautiful Cathedral city in the historic county of Wiltshire, known as the Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary and also Home to the likes of Old Sarum, Stonehenge, and even a rare copy of the Magna Carta.
Your second full day excursion is Southampton, owning its own distinctive character with a rich maritime heritage and a focus on water sports, sailing and ocean racing, as well as being one of the most important ports in the UK. Southampton is also the major port for cruise ships and was one of the 4 shortlisted locations for the 2025 UK City of Culture.
Dracula’s Whitby Mon 27th – Fri 31st May 2024
Our seaside favourite of Whitby. Massively requested by our clients! There is no other place like it …… On the East Cliff, overlooking the North Sea, the ruined Gothic Whitby Abbey was Bram Stoker’s inspiration for “Dracula”. Nearby is the Church of St. Mary, reached by the 199 steps. But Whitby keeps on giving….. The Captain Cook Memorial Museum, the house where Cook once lived, displays paintings and maps. Then, West of town is West Cliff Beach, lined with beach huts…. picturesque to say the least…..Simply spectacular!
 
 
Our accommodation for 5 days is The Royal Hotel on Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis. Overlooking Whitby Harbour, The Royal Hotel is situated opposite the famous Whalebone Arch in the West Cliff area of Whitby. With breath-taking views of Whitby Abbey.
 
Your first full day excursion will be Pickering & Steam Train ride back to Whitby. Your second will be Guisborough & Saltburn-on-Sea. The delightful coastal town Saltburn-by-the-sea bestows plenty of Victorian charm and thrills. From the water balanced cliff lifts to the last remaining pier in Yorkshire, Saltburn promises its visitors an authentic seaside experience!
 
Llandudno Wed 12th – Sun 16th June 2024
Lovely, large seafront hotel, perfectly situated in the centre of Llandudno ideal for exploring the local town or taking a stroll on the pier, front or beach. Wake up to stunning view of the Sea! Staying at The Hydro Hotel, located on the Seafront. Close in proximity to the theatre…… Prime position for a stroll along the front and in perfect position for shopping or exploring Llandudno. The hotel provides tasty traditional home-cooked food with plenty of choice to suit everyone’s needs. You will enjoy 2 excursion days included. While in resort why not take the tram to the top of the Orme and enjoy its magnificent views?
Your first excursion on this tour will be a Puffin Island Cruise. Puffin Island is not accessible to the public without the permission of the landowner, however there are boat trips around the island during the summer months from nearby Beaumaris. So we thought we would take you for a little cruise, hopefully we’ll be able to see the Puffin’s up close! Followed by Free time in Beaumaris.
Your second excursion is Caernarfon. Caernarfon is one of the most popular destinations for visitors to North Wales and it's not hard to see why. UNESCO World Heritage status, great shopping, an authentic Welsh feel and some great places to eat and drink, and you have all the makings of a memorable day out. Llanberis Pass, An awesome mountainside road that carves through Snowdonia. It is well worth taking a detour through the valley to see the mountain sheep, the various lakes not to mention the spectacular flora and fauna. Followed by a visit to the National Slate Museum. Explore the history of slate, the traditional craft of the quarryman in authentic workshops. Perfect to buy a Wales souvenir!
Bletchley Codebreakers Thurs 27th June – Mon 1st July 2024
Bletchley Park, once the top secret home of the World War 2 codebreakers. Step back in time and experience the stories of the extra ordinary achievements of the men’s and women that worked here. Staying at The Huntingdon Marriott Hotel on Half-board Basis.
You have 2 included excursions……
Cambridge – A university city, punting on the River Cam, explore King’s College or may be Trinity College. With greenery galore and beautiful old buildings as far as the eye can see, it's a popular destination. Ely – a beautiful setting, nestling under the big skies of the Fen countryside, in the shadow of its magnificent Norman cathedral known locally as “The Ship of the Fens”. Ely offers a wealth of attractions and things to do. As the second smallest city in England, it is compact enough to explore on foot. A popular filming location for popular movies such as ‘The Crown’, ‘The King’s Speech’ & ‘Assassin’s Creed’, So you may have seen snippets of Ely.
